I’m asking this because I see lots of Tumblr/forum posts about Mackenzie being the new Cortana but I think she’s more like Bruce Thomas, while Paisha definitely ‘‘lends’’ her face!
I don’t get what you’re confused about… Jen does the voice and Mackenzie does the acting.

Yeah but Mackenzie is mentioned in every article, not Paisha. I found about her just today. My question was more like: Why is that so? I guess because Mackenzie did the hard work, Jen is the one being instantly recognizable and Paisha is just another pretty face who happens to be our dear Cortana.

Paisha doesn’t play Cortana. She plays a new character, who is incharge on the Spartan IVs. I can’t remember her name though.
Jen and Mackenzie are the only people who play Cortana.

WTF, didn’t expect that! Because Paisha actually looks like Cortana and Mackenzie just seems so… Random. Now I’m thinking that the design choices for her look were entirely made from zero, no direct inspirations.

Paisha plays Commander Palmer.

I guess Palmer had that DMR adjusted to her size preference if you know what I mean
