When I played through the game first time on “The Breaking” and I am on the elevator there was a bit when the Chief says “You now don’t you, the exact bodycount?”. In every other game I ve played Cortana goes silent, even with the skull. But I can distinctly remember when I first played the game that her symbol appears in the corner and theres this grainy static. But with subtitles on, she replies that “all birth begins with pain”. Has anyone ever had this come up, because I’ve never seen it pop up since then? Is this even hidden dialogue or something they patched out? She doesn’t actually say it, but the subtitles for the text came up.

I doubt he’d be able to do anything with it anyway, because as far as I know, no one has modded or hacked an Xbox One.

Yeah, the first time I played the Breaking mission in Halo 5. It appears in the subtitles when you are on one of the elevators right after Chief says “You know don’t you, the exact bodycount” but before the Warden says “Listen to his questions Cortana.”. Theres some static and Cortana’s symbol shows up but the subtitles read “all birth begins with pain”.
But its never came up for me since then.
Feels like a slew of people just finished the campaign over the weekend.
Ill try checking it out.

Possibly in halo 3 actually, if you didn’t know some of the songs in halo 3 have the gravemind talking in the music.
Not as bad as what she says near the pelican in halo 3.
