I’m trying to update mcc and when the game finally updated, I got an error saying “Corrupted Update Files”. Is anyone else getting this issue? It made me restart the update process again. This is taking forever to update. I tried googling this and the few people with similar situations that came up sounded like they had to jump through hoops just to get this fixed.
Not sure about corrupt but for me on the Steam Deck it would crash every time with this new update so I guess the update may have corrupted some files. Though I haven’t noticed this on Windows but seems to be more of an issue on Linux.
By the way, I noticed the download size for the update on my end is 80.2 GB while on the support page it says its 14.4 GB… What in gods name is going on here? Why is the update size on my end so big?
Umm I think that’s just a bug. It’s been a while but think I had that issue on xbox ages back and it was because the game was redownloading itself again.
Update: The game managed to update successfully when retrying to the download process. I don’t know what happened before.
