same here man, its retarded, msg me if someone finds a fix, love halo wars 2

Im having the same problem too. Nothing ive tried has fixed it.

Did anyone find a solution?

Xbox live had to completely reset my hard drive. Luckily for me I had an external to move my games too.

Wow what a mess…hopefully they can get this fixed quickly.

I’m having the same issue.

Im guessing this is the only way to fix this? How did you get them to reset it, because mine is still broken.

Same issue. Hope this gets fixed

Same for me. Funny that you had to reset your entire internal hard drive, as I’ve been able to download 4 other games while this one continues to corrupt after an uninstall.

This is absolutely ridiculous. What a mess. No word from the devs, no one knows what the f*cking issue is.

Im almost to the point of giving up. Paid $80 for this game MONTHS before it came out because i was so excited for it, knew I would love it.

My download got stuck after 9.39GB. I uninstalled multiple times and the install stops at exactly the same position. Error message is “installation stopped”, details has error code 0x80070570…

I’ve resolved the problem by brute force, by doing a factory reset of the Xbox.

I believe the installation file was corrupted, probably caused by an earlier update that I killed because it was not starting.
My reasoning behind this is:

  • While installing the game, the “Manage game” screen showed the download as 13GB, which is obviously wrong (I guess 13GB was the initial size). - When I uninstalled the game, after reboot, it reappeared in my installed games list.I’ve tried a few other options including system cache reset (= reset mac address, NOT cable unplug) and reentering my profile, but that did not work.
So far, every update of HW2 never started (pause did not work either) and I rebooted the Xbox, causing the full game install instead of an update.
I am now thinking this possibly corrupted it the first time and all subsequent updates had problems because of it.
Hopefully this helps somebody else as well…
