The administration of Waypoint is corrupt. They move threads to sections that no one will see (such as polling booth, war games feedback, etc) to take the heat off of Halo 4 in-terms of complaints, they also make ‘official’ threads for things such as population discussion, CSR discussion, and stuff like that so they can close/delete other threads complaining about them just to bring heat off of Halo 4. By doing this they make these threads not seen and undermine the issues making it harder for developers to see the feedback they need, and the communities real majority opinion, to make matters worse any ‘positive’ thread will stay open and not have any of that be done to it. We complain because we want a good Halo 4 and more importantly a good Halo 5 but you’re making that less and less likely to happen with each of the following actions. As leaders of a HALO forum you should want Halo to be the best possible, as of now you’re only looking for ways to stop that. We need new forum leaders
They’re probably just following guidelines. I see how it could be a problem though.
-_______________-
The threads are moved because that’s the sections they belong in. This vs That needs to be in the Poll Booth (since that section was begged for by many.) And Playlist things go into the War Games section. I’m not explaining the other part yet again.
Quick everyone post before this thread disappears forever!!!
Actually if you follow Waypoint as closely as I do and just about every member outside of the Halo 4 only forum you appreciate what they are doing with this community website.
So many complaints are literally about matchmaking only, hence why they are moved to matchmaking. In reality that is what you too are complaining about, it’s a baseless biased complaint you have mate. Grow up.
If you ventured outside of the Halo 4 forums you would see the Universe forum for story, the matchmaking for just that, official war games feedback thread, official bug feedback thread, official news threads and also contribute to far more interaction with the 343i employees. Many members enjoy and appreciate the renewed commitment to our Halo community here, you should too.
The moderators, who are volunteers, are moving threads and organising this place. Judging by your grasp of grammar and punctuation I wish they could moderate your original post too.
They are moved to other sections of the forums because that’s where the topics belong in.
OnyxTech and Ozzy are right.
Maybe because they already know about the problem?
I bet OP was one of 528,620,214 people complaining that Halo 4 is not a clone of Halo 3 and created over 9000 threads about it.

These sections were made because of the mass amount of these threads being made in Halo 4 section, almost all of these NEGATIVE. These sections have like 1/100th of the popularity of the Halo 4 section, no one goes in them. Great way to divert complaints isn’t it? Halo 4 section was filled with majority of complaints for a reason, because those problems exist. So they find popular complaint threads such as 1-50, population, etc, make a “Official thread” for them and close all threads that have to do with that and put the official threads in a subforum that no one views making the voice of all these complaints un-heard. That’s the problem, and it’s wrong.

Most of the sections existed before we saw gameplay of Halo 4 so… (Pooling Booth, Matchmaking etc.) Plus it’s much easier on the eyes to see one thread instead of a page of the same thing, in my opinion.
They could (and should) just create a complaints forum so that we can all ignore them together.
Corruption? Do you know what that means?
They just clean up the forums, put stuff where they should go.
Follow the rules.
Read them. Post in the right places. And stop with your conspiracy theories, nothing to gain there…
As this deals with moderation discussion I believe, it should be locked I think.

Yes, one ‘official’ thread, not even in the Halo 4 section which results in them closing the threads of people wanting to discuss these because of that official ones. Even though the official thread isn’t even in the Halo 4 section and has last posts of 5 days ago. Also if these are the majority of threads its for a reason, because people dislike where Halo 4 is going, A LOT OF PEOPLE. The more Waypoint mods try to bury that the less the devs think it’s a problem, giving off inaccurate statistics of like to hate ratio. You might be okay with Halo 4’s subpar and blandness but many people aren’t, and they want their voices heard so that we can have a good Halo for the first time since Halo 3.
2 problems with you’re argument, 1. The threads were moved to the sections specifically designed for threads with the specified topics. It has been this way since after Waypoint’s Beta test phase almost a full year before Halo 4’s release. (Although the “War Games” section is somewhat newer)
2. The majority of the “negative” threads on the Halo 4 section are problems that have already been stated many times before. 343 is aware of these problems and is attempting to fix them, reposting it a million times won’t fix it any faster. Most threads concerning new problems usually stay afloat long enough for a 343 employee to at least take notice and they can react accordingly. Just because they aren’t responding on the forums doesn’t mean they aren’t watching.
Let’s take a look at some of the things 343 are fixing since the community complained about them. Enough people complained about the boltshot’s “OP-ness” to have it nerfed such that its range is being reduced. Enough people complained about friendly players in War Games matches and Spartan Ops were deliberately destroying friendly vehicles, they are fixing that. We wanted Grifball they gave it to us, Forge maps? We got those too. If you’re looking for certain playlists that haven’t come out yet, they can only crank these playlists out so fast.
If you have something possibly helpful to say then say it, but this is a bad attempt. 343 is not corrupt and neither is Waypoint.
Threads are moved if they have more relevance to certain forums. In addition, certain subjects need “official” threads in order to avoid flooding the forums with repeat threads.
