Coronavirus impact on Halo infinite release date.

343 has said that they are all working from home and that they are doing everything they can to release Halo infinite on time, but cannot guarantee anything yet. But will they make the holiday 2020 release window? According to the article they have been working at home for approximately 3 weeks now and while this would be a major setback if Halo infinite was early in development it probably won’t be a major setback as Halo infinite has now been playable for more than a year and the cutscenes are apparently already done. Most if not all of the audio has already been recorded, and all Halo infinite needs between now and the release date is the beta / flighting program. Microsoft stated that the Xbox series X is still releasing on time and Halo infinite is a launch title so that makes a delay seem unlikely. So with all this in mind I am going to predict that Halo infinite will still make the holiday 2020 window and will release with the series X in late November, shortly before Thanksgiving. This will allow for a few more weeks of development than Halo 5’s late October release but will still make the current release window. This is all speculation, so comment what you think below. I am interested to see what y’all think about the whole coronavirus situation and how it will impact halo.

You are the fourth guy posting the exact same concerns about the virus already in less than three days mate. I get it! I really do. The situation is concerning and is impacting our work, private life or in this case the tech industry and our hobbies with it.

Still, please refrain from opening a tread with - yet again - the same corvid-19 topic and use an existing one instead: THIS ONE FOR INSTANCE.

The corona virus is the least of our concerns.
