Shoulders working on any core? You mean like this?

Delete the parentheses around the h.
I havent bought them bc I refuse to play in mk 7 armour. It looks too manly, since we also don’t have female Spartan options.
That’s a big part of why I won’t use MK VII either. I do like some of the helmets and coatings, but I won’t use it regardless.
Well if they already work on cross cores then it is likely that it will be available at some time in the future hopefully.
Well well well… Thanks for showing me that.
343 please put this on the roadmap to fix in the new year. Don’t think it should take priority over desync, coop or forge but this would solve a lot of complaints on cosmetics.
I’m curious on some feedback regarding the body types and how a spartan should look female. How would others design it so it fits society’s stance on gender equality and also be pleasing to consumers.
I’m all for more variety in this game, but I’m not sure how they could make a spartan look female without over sexualization.
The spartan voices are a good start but other than having a slimmer bone structure kind of like what they have now Im not sure how else a spartan could look more female.
Edit: maybe this should be discussed in another thread if it hasn’t been already.
You’re welcome. By the way, if you want to try it out it the method is in one of my replies to Yande. Modify a core you’re not wearing in Waypoint, equip an item, then hit body at the top. It’ll show you the item you just equipped on the core you’re wearing. You can only test one item at a time, but it works with anything except helmet attachments. With Helmet attachments you’ll keep the one you’re wearing no matter which helmet you equip, which is why someone with the cat ears could test if they work on MK V helmets, and I am almost positive they would.
Well women’s bodies aren’t sexual, they’re just bodies. You might find them 6y, like I might find a male body 6y, but 6y doesn’t mean sexualized. I’d personally recommend they do it like Reach, 4, and 5. If they’re afraid of backlash though, and refuse to do that, then at least give the slimmer Spartan design armor that fits. Right now the armor is one sized fits all, so the slimmer body gets the “baggy trousers” look. Not flattering.
Seriously, s-e-x-y is censored?
Never heard anyone complain about the female body type of spartans in Reach and 5, there was literally no reason to remove that.
they did say that cross core will happen
Not really. Bots have mixed match armor pieces from multiple cores and they look fine. Even if they didn’t, It’s not like armor in halo has been know to not clip through it self.
When/where did they say that?!
I dont think you realise what youre saying is that they shouldnt add feminine bodies bc men will find them 6y. It’s not about what men want, it’s about what women want. And we want to feel represented by an aesthetically pleasing Spartan.
The female voices are also bugged btw, the game knows we’re playing on male Spartans so it keeps speaking in a male voice.
most recently in the counminyt playdate livestream
I must have missed that. Thank you for the hope, because I was feeling incredibly hopeless about it.
during said stream they also said the store will be getting fixes too
I truly apologize I definitely did not intend for what I said to come across that way. I recall reading some posts similar to yours where women weren’t overly happy with the halo infinite representation of the female body. I am just trying to create a dialogue for suggestions of improvements from women.
100% bodies are exactly that, just bodies. I apologize for any ignorance, I’m still learning/growing in that regard.
I would wager that they were/are afraid of backlash hens the change from 4, 5 and Reach. That was the reason I asked, so that 343 might be able to hear some feedback and make some improvements.
Aye I didn’t think that was your intention, but that’s just what that debate point means
