Corbulo Academy of Military Science

So CAMS is it UNSC Army, Marine Corps or Navy? I’m really confused by this because its instructors and security force are Marines and are training with Corps weapons with most of the students sounding like their parents are from the Navy but the CO’s are Army/Corps (depending couldn’t differentiate that one) due to their ranks e.g. General black so what is it?

I used to be pretty sure that they are the Marine Corps, since I thought ODSTs were exclusive to the Marines?

But now that you mention such ranks I don’t know…

I think it’s like west point. were everyone is cadets and then when they graduate, they ship off to the branch they signed up for.

West Point cadets are trained to enter the Army almost exclusively. There are rare instances of “trades” between the service academies, but not many. If you go to West Point then you go because you want to join the Army.

This is not to say that CAMS couldn’t be a cross service academy. Given that there were many children of high ranking UNSC and UEG officials, it is likely that CAMS was a pretigious cross-disciplinary service academy. I would consider it a mix between Harvard and West Point (in spaaaace.)
