So in apex u had 3 types of currency apex coins ,artifacts [i think thats the name ] and the red coins that i dont know the name for right ?

2 of them u get from playing the game
One u have to buy of earn between battle passes. Right

One of them is use to buy legends
The other to buy skins and weapons charms and colors

And third use real money to buy currency or by completing the Battlepass .

Ok add al color pallete with plain colors right like in pass halos if u get artifacts u can buy those colors and combine them like in past halos

Now every other variation of the colors like glitter effect , metalic , Mate , or if later down the line u add colors effect like in apex where some of them have lights or ect those varitations u need to buy with real money …

Now emblems colors should be free cuz u already need to buy certain emblems … u have a bunch of cool one but u only get 3 pre set of colors for them and it sucks cuz u actually have some real good emblems but we can’t choose the colors we want …

Honestly it’s kind of annoying when F2P games have multiple currencies. I’d rather they just had some point system like MCC.

Hearthstone recently introduced real money battle passes. You could also buy the pass with runestones… which you could only buy with real money…

F2p is making me want to quit gaming. :confused: halo 5 has done it best so far.

Halo 5 wasn’t F2P.

You paid to play, and then got told to grind or pay to unlock everything

The reason they have so many currencies is to overwhelm new players and get them to just opt for the path of least resistance and pay actual money to make things simple.

Its legitimate Psychological warfare that these game companies are waging on consumers, and OP and many others on this forum are literally asking to be taken advantage of…

See this is the glaring issue with your idea: Youre literally asking game companies to take advantage of you so you pay for currency.

The reason there are more than 1 type of currency is to make navigating the store and buying items as confusing and overwhelming as possible for people who arent familiar with the game. Thus, confused players opt to make things easy on themselves and just shell out cash instead, because thats simple and universal. Isnt it strange how every piece of purchaseable cosemtic in the game includes the option to buy it with Apex Coins? Even more to the point, you couldnt even recall the names of the other currencies. You could only remember the microtransaction currency, which means that their predatory psychological manipulation tactic worked, youve fallen into their trap, and youre asking for more….

They often use pricing tricks too, so you can’t buy what you want directly. The currency is always in amounts either under/over the value of something in the store, so you either don’t have enough or have some left over (which makes it psychologically easier to buy more, since you have some already).

No thanks. Having more than 1 form of currency in a game is nothing more than needlessly complex.
