Was looking at the different Visors I have, reading their flavour text when I noticed this:
Unbreakable:
“Built from the latest composited and reverse engineered Covenant technology, the Unbreakable VISR can survive even when the surrounding helmet is torn asunder”
Expedition:
“Built and ran through the harshest testing regime offered by the UNSC, the Expedition VISR can occasionally remain intact even if the rest of the helmet is destroyed around it”
I wouldn’t pay too much attention to the descriptions to be honest. Some are admittedly interesting, but don’t offer anything special in the long run.
Here’s a secret: 343 only made a ton of cosmetics (not caring about the quality, mind you) so it would be harder to get the actual unlocks you want (be they armors or weapons). They made so many that they couldn’t even come up with good descriptions for all of them, apparently.
It’s like when you write a school paper and you just ramble and ramble and repeat yourself. Well the description was the last of their worries

Probably just lazy writing to save time. I wouldn’t blame them considering how much armor is in the game and every piece needs a description.
Eh, for something like the req system you need the useless filler to make those packs more appealing.
That and when many of the people wont pay too much attention to descriptions its easier just to focus on making more reskins and such.
