Coordinate Fix for H5's Forge

I find that every time I spawn in a new object and go to the coordinate system, I need to figure out over and over which way is left, forward, right, and backward. It is extremely irritating because I am constantly correcting myself and wasting lots of time.

Halo 4’s coordinate system is the exact same as Reach’s. There are 6 options to choose from, all of which can change their direction due to the 3D environment, excluding no. 3.

  • NUDGE X (WIDTH)- NUDGE Y (DEPTH)- NUDGE Z (HEIGHT)- ROTATE X (PITCH)- ROTATE Y (YAW)- **ROTATE Z (ROLL)**Understand that each option can be moved closer or further away from “0” on the grid. This is controlled by either the left or right directions on the D-pad or thumb stick. This is where the frustration comes in to play. Let’s say that you want to move an object one point forward, and one point right. You go to option no. 1: width, and press “right”, but it moves backwards. So now you need to correct yourself, and continue on one point forward. Next, you go to option no. 2: depth. Knowing that depth is now width (caused by the 3D environment, and the direction you’re facing the object), you press “right” in order to move it one point right, but it goes left. Again, you must correct yourself, and place the object accordingly.

I don’t know if I’m the only one having this problem. If you have any ideas how this can be fixed, please post here.

I am gonna be honest, I don’t even know how to access coordinates in Halo 5 please help me!!

Please don’t revive very old topics thanks, any issues with Forge can be posted in Forge Support
