I like having Chief as the main character. But the spin off games are amazing and have proven we don’t always need Master Chief.

Guardians could of been good aswell unfortunately they made osirus look like a replacement. And played them way to close to chiefs story and made them look like a replacement.
Yeah replacing Chief with team Osirus is just the same thing as playing with Chief but less history of the character. The idea with Chief never taking his helmet off was that he could be anyone under there, it was you. But the books, game, and show have all given away what he looks like, and really only Noble 6 maintains the full embodiment of the “you” in the game. Naturally we can’t bring Noble 6 back but you could do something similar with a new character. At a minimum I hope they bring back the coop spartan ops as Spartan 4s. Maybe make the story more relevant to your actual character versus a different team. Gotta bring back Crimson team.
