I’ve been waiting to play through the campaign with some randoms online like in Halo 3 but for some reason, every time I launch it, I only have the AI playing with me.I would really like to play the campaign with others, but feel like I’m doing something incorrect. What do I do to start a session or join a session with random pubs?
You cannot play with people on yhe matchmaking, because 343 is not letting us to do. You are correct, the matchmaking for campsign is needed.

Yes, 343 designed the campaign with co-op play in mind, but they left out campaign matchmaking and split screen. As I’ve said before, it’s like 343’s car ran out of gas. So to get money for gas to refuel their car, they sold the car.
