I think it will make more cool since you should have the option to do that like change the color of the HUD or have custom HUD like Osiris and Blue Team.

Although it would be cool to see, I don’t know how it could be implemented by 343.

No. Its not possible. 343 said this in pre release posts that the multiplayer HUD is similar in all helmets to maintain their so called balance in competitive arena. Though I think its a cool idea for warzone.
