So I’ve had the Limited Edition on Pre-Order since the day they announced it. I’ve never been really convinced it’s worth it. From what I can tell…
$60 Game
$30 DLC
$10 for a case, video, and some in game stuff I don’t think it’s too worth paying money for.
The case I’d value maybe at $2. The video nothing since it’ll be on youtube hours after release just like the Halo: Reach Legendary Edition I bought. The only reason I still have it is because I love Halo and want to support the series, at least at first in case 343 proves my desire undoable (though I doubt that).
But now? Now I hear there’s a deal with the DLC being available for $25 on launch (Season Pass) AND you get content the Limited Edition owners do not get (some armor skin and armor it seems). So essentially I could get the standard edition, buy this season pass, and pay $85 instead of $100 for the same content except for a video I’ll youtube, a case that is unimportant, and some ‘specialization’ bonus I have to work for either way.
Convince me to keep this order. I really want to be convinced but based on what I’ve heard, the LE just seems like a ripoff at this point.
Buy the LE,the season pass is only two helmets and a falcon emblem, and porbably 343 fix this,so yeah,i think it worth the price,if youre a real halo fan

You’re not being ripped off in the slightest.
Do you want 2 helms and an emblem, of which you may never use any after you unlock some specialisations, maybe sooner, or do you want a weapon skin, base armour skin, a different emblem, immersive literature and exclusive digital-content?

If you buy all of the things seperately you will end up paying a bit more.
Buying seperately: Game: $60
DLC’s ($15x3): $45
FUD (average price most likely): $20-$30
Total: $125-$130. You would save around $30 with LE.
The point you’re making about YouTube(ing) the FUD videos doesn’t really work. It is technically illegal for other people to re-distribute the video on Youtube and even if they do the quality will probably be poor and it is a hell of a lot nicer to sit on the couch and watch the vids on your TV then slumped over a computer screen. Plus LE owners will get bonus features of FUD.
The season pass thing shouldn’t be a deal breaker. LE is worth it in my opinion and I haven’t even mentioned all of the extra’s you get like avatar stuff and ETC.
$60 for the game and manual
$20 for the map pack pass(not 25 because it doesn’t include the helmets)
$10 for the extended FUD and documentary
$10 for the case, armor and weapon skin, avatar items, UNSC briefing packet, Spartan IV schematics , other paper stuff.
I’m not getting the Limited Edition for one reason, which may sound stupid, but because of the metallic box. I’m not too interested in Forward Unto Dawn, because it’s not physical, it’s digital, which means it’s essentially the same as watching a YouTube video…
> Another preorder cancelled. Thanks for telling me this.
Yeah, I cancelled mine two hours ago. I sold my xbox and all my Halo games n’all. That’s what happens when I don’t get my precious 1-50 ranking system.

Wait, it’s not a disc? It’s a download? As for the FuD itself I can care less. I’m getting the LE for the DLC and whatever documents and stuff it has. I really like reading thru Halsey’s journal and all that stuff it came with.

This is your own choice really. I wasn’t to excited to about learning about a separate WGMP but I’m still holding on to my pre-order LE. Like I said before this its your choice.

> I suggest you reevaluate your statement.
do you care for avatar things? i think it’s the most useless things they are, in my opinion, and a skin with little colors doesn’t make difference
