Post your own reasons to try and convince 343i as to why AA should stay out of Halo 4 and classic Halo gameplay should make a return.
We don’t need to convince them anymore, they know.
We’re just beating a dead horse now.
I’m pretty sure 343i is aware not to add AA in Halo 4.
the only thing chiefs got is an anti gravity pack which isn’t a jetpack which MIGHT ONLY or MIGHT NOT ONLY work in space. I think the jetpack was a great idea, it was just utilized wrong. They should of incorporated sprint and the jetpack in without all the others and made sprint a default option and big maps like the jetpack only for maps such the size of sandtrap and waterworks.
Hopefully you guys are right about them being aware. Please no default sprint either 343i.
> Hopefully you guys are right about them being aware. Please no default sprint either 343i.
tbh i really wouldnt even mind default sprint, so long as they made it so you stop sprinting if you take enemy-based damage, and cannot sprint again for ~2 seconds after the last bit of enemy-based damage you have received.
thats it though. ONLY sprint. no other nonsense.
i wouldnt mind if they were only in 1 playlist, or 2 playlists (like AA Team Slayer and AA Team Objective), but for the LOVE OF HALO DO NOT PUT THEM IN EVERY DAMN PLAYLIST.
and if i see another halo game riddled with JET PACK, ARMOR LOCK, or ANYTHING SIMILAR, starts, i will probably lose all faith in halo and stop buying / supporting the trashy direction its going in. its already bad enough 343 hasnt removed jet pack from every single playlist to begin with.

Agreed. Give people the option, no more AA-default start across the board.

I could deal with it ONLY if it was implemented like that, but to be honest it’s an unnecessary feature. To compensate for Sprint they lower the default movement speed. It also ruins the type of map designs I used to love in Halo 2/3 (smaller arena maps and floating asyms).

Classic gameplay…
As in Power Ups?
As in going to a set point to pick up a limited use item that does X instead of shoot a bigger bullet?
Because at their core, that’s what AAs are. AAs only have more variety and greater control. Of course, that said, more problems.
Blame Loadouts for players spawning with AAs.

Actually every Armor Ability is uniquely awful in their own special way.
And Lol, map movement was not a problem in Halo CE, 2, and 3 on big maps that featured no such nonsensical AAs.
They know, you guys have been complaining about this for months…
Haha, keep complaining guys, the more vocal you are, the more 343 listen. They’re members of staff are always viewing the forums for feedback and ideas. 343 are a much more fan driven company than that Third Party developer Sage that made Reach.

Since when did a vocal minority complaining and complaining turn into feedback, and ideas?
Are you calling 343i stupid?
They already know.
as long as they make sprint a standard I would be content.

We think the same way.
I think that everyone that comes to these forums, has some fatih for the reclaimer trilogy and for 343i. Therefore they should know that 343i will be smart when designing Halo 4.
Halo Reach was the Halo that changed the way Halo is played too much, and right now, it’s the 7th most played title over xbox live (however it will bounce up the 15th).
Reach is not even a year and a half old!
Halo 3 stayed number one for 2 years straight (with some bouncing up and down from 2nd-3rd place), but still managed to make it to 2010 as the 1st most played gane over xbox live. And this game, was an “upgraded” Halo 2, it was nothing like the change from Halo CE to Halo 2.
My point is: a proper Halo, meaning no AA/Loadouts/Bloom well designed is gonna kick the -Yoink- of the CoD series that are seriously getting old.

What you will have are the lowest denominator of players playing Halo 4. It will be the kids who giggle at every Armor Lock use, who squeal with joy everytime they defeat someone with a Needler while in Jet Pack. The type of players who enjoy trolling the others with these AAs, just like the game developers who trolled the skilled with Reach.
Gone will be the skilled player who has been with Halo since Combat Evolved. Halo will be a game for children in the next releases.
If Halo 4 has any such Armor Ability, I simply will not buy it and I will urge everyone I know to boycott the industry known as 343.

What’s the point of sprint in a Halo game? It ruins good map designs, dumbs down the gameplay, and the base player speed in lowered when they add sprint.
