I just recently purchased the Xboxone and have all halo games from the old system. How do I convert them to the new system?
I don’t believe that the Xbox One is backward compatible, meaning you cannot play Xbox 360 games on the Xbox One. Your best bet is to buy the Master Chief Collection.
Peculiar Angel is correct - none of the Xbox 360 games are compatible with the Xbox One. If you want Halo on the X1, the Master Chief Collection is your way to go, though it Only includes Halo 1 - 4 and not Reach or ODST. ODST will come free to some people in Spring. There are still problems with MCC, but the upcoming content update should hopefully resolve most of them. Might be worth holding off until that comes out (hopefully in the next few days)
I was told if I come to the halo sight I would get some help on getting them converted somehow. As I told the tech I am not going to purchase all new games to replace all of my old ones. That’s nuts to have to pay for games twice.
I’m not sure who told you to post here, but it has been known since well before the launch of the Xbox One that games would not be backwards compatible. There is no way to convert them I am afraid.
MCC is what u need to get, but I warn u it’s pretty broken.
Set up your Xbox 360 with your xbox1 and play the 360 on the xbox1
