In foreign countries, some publishers make prices cheaper than they normally would be when they are converted, this is mostly done to poor countries, like the one I live in, for players to actually be able to afford the games.
Microsoft has done this for Halo MCC, It’s 61 TL for 6 different games.
When it comes to Infinite however, its 299 TL, for only 1 campaign. The pricing seems way too expensive compared to MCC.
I get why this is done, the multiplayer is free and Infinite is a brand new game and all. But damn man, sucks to not be able to afford the campaign.

What do other AAA experiences like CoD and Battlefield cost? How about Far Cry 6 and Horizon Zero Dawn Forbidden West? You always have Game Pass.
Can you guys stop making so many duplicate threads on this please.
Its a very simple explanation.
This is how they push gamepass.
Sales aren’t the objective.
Read some other threads. Instead of staring up the convo again.

Battlefield 1 and 4 are cheaper on Steam, and this was back when EA didn’t lower prices for Turkey, after they started to do that, games that were added to Steam didn’t change price, but they were made a lot cheaper on Origin. (This also made the newer games cheaper aswell.) CoD series are all cheaper except for Modern Warfare, Far cry series (including 6) are all cheaper. Idk about Forbidden West, probably more expensive, but Zero Dawn is cheaper on all platforms. These are all publishers who are heavily criticised for not converting prices (EA was, Ubisoft and Activision still are.) or publishers like Sony which are console exclusives until PC releases. Console versions aren’t made cheaper most of the time, and if they are its minimal, I don’t really know the reason why. And since they launch pre-exclusives on Steam, they don’t really drop prices either. Looked mostly at PC for these.

It is, I should probably consider it. I like owning games permenantly instead of subscriptions most of the time but it seems like the better choice now.

Not everyone is interested in game pass spam and OP was talking about game prices as in people are more interested in buying a game.

Yeh saw it too and it’s not ok that some countries are forcing higher costs like this and it’s bad enough that there releasing half a game at launch.

Oh I completely understand however Game Pass does give you a discount on the game as well. Not sure how that applies to your situation however.

Because it’s used to spam advertising in most cases to excuse criticism usually and I get kind of tired of seeing it spammed when I have frequently said no to it in the past so I just class it as spam.

The percentage of the discount, how long I need to be subscribed for it to be increased, and the cost of the game after that aswell,
makes the game actually more expensive.
Game Pass is actually great, but it’s for people who want to play all the games in it and have long time subscriptions instead of a short one for one game.
as I am not really interested in most of the games in it, as you would understand the discount wouldn’t really help me. Thank you for showing me new options though, I appreciate it.

Stating an accessible option isn’t spam and the fact that you group it together with “excusing criticism” is a head scratcher. Halo Infinite is on Game Pass so I recommend you ignore posts about it because the road ahead is going to be painful if it bothers you this much already.

No problem. It is an unfortunate circumstance you are in and I hope you find a solution some how. Good luck!

It’s my opinion. Don’t really care if you agree with it or not. Maybe you should take your own advice before acting like people only do what ‘you’ want.

It seems like you are only on these forums to provide sass to people. What advice should I take? I provided an option to someone to solve their problem and you got bothered by me stating Game Pass and replied. Afterward I recommended that you just ignore it. I never claimed that you had to ignore it or not. It seems like you are just looking for an argument every time we have discord. You also change the context and incorrectly refer to what I state. It’s this type of discord that makes our community more toxic and it’s unneeded.

Just no. I stated an opinion and your coming as toxic by acting like I’m not allowed an opinion just because it doesn’t cater to ‘you’.

I never stated you couldn’t have an opinion that was not aligned with mine. You created this context literally out of nowhere. If you think recommending something is not allowing you have an opinion then I don’t know what to tell you. Why would I want to feel catered too? You think after the Military I give a single damn about that? Almost every reply to me you are being negative and full of bad vibes yet I am toxic lol.

Back off. I said I wasn’t interested and you have no right to tell me what opinions I’m allowed to have. Your past has nothing to do with these forums and your clearly going way off topic. I’m just going to ignore your condescending viewpoints.

Back off? Like huh? AGAIN. I never claimed what opinions you are allowed to have. Glad we got that figured out. Have a nice day.
