Everyone here has been wanting at least an improvement on Halo 5’s storyline. What I haven’t seen anyone suggest, is for Halo 5’s story to be adapted into a novel. Such a thing has been done before, too. Halo: CE was captured in novel form in Halo: The Flood, although the novel had arguably the worst representation of Chief’s character. Halo: The Flood greatly expanded upon the backstory and details of CE, so imagine what a Halo 5 novel could do.
Just so long as they get the right person to write it.

No I leave Halo books to tell a person side a story but have you seen movies like the Maze Runner, it was worse then the book and if they converted Halo 5 into a book it’s going to be worse.

I don’t understand your maze runner comment, you are saying the book was better, (which is a common idea, even for things that were originally in a different media than a book) but don’t want a halo 5 book. I don’t want a halo 5 book, even though I would read it, because I would like to see different stories, and I am not a fan of Retconning things
Then it’d just be Halo 5’s bad story in text form. Totally can’t wait to read the part where Blue Team wanders around for two days because Cortana was up to no good on Genesis.
Would love them to go into detail about subjucation of ai’s that’s never been seen in any media before. Or cortana going i’m evil. /s

sorry, but what I’m trying to say that movies don’t do anything the story of book does. But always change it and make it worse than the book.
