Controller vs Mouse

Disclaimer: I fully understand that I’ll get comments from the keyboard and mouse community trying to dismiss my comments, however can we have controller vs controller lobbies and mouse vs mouse lobbies?

Currently, the lobbies are full of mouse players. A mouse player has a massive advantage in controlling his accuracy over a controller player, they also can react faster and track players easier. This, combined with how they can use equipment much more easily due to being able to look directly down, repulse, and look straight back up (whilst a controller player would need insanely high sensitivity settings which would compromise their own aiming) gives mouse players a large and unfair advantage.

I’m not gonna lie, I’m pretty decent by console standards and in my prime I would often go against some of the best players in Halo 5 and hold my own, but even I’m struggling here. Not only that, but my friends who aren’t on the same skill level are getting flattened out there, only making them feel like they should quit now, which some of them already have by uninstalling the preview.

I know this will likely be added into the full game as an option (because if it isn’t, I probably won’t play it) but just for the preview, we need this option to play it. Afterall, isn’t it important that console players get to test the game and see if everything’s working correctly?

It’s been the same for me here I’ve been barely going positive most of my games and I’ve hit onyx almost every season. Some guns are just impossible to use on controller like the commando aim assist needs a buff

They’ve confirmed that ranked at least will be separated by input, though I imagine an HCS playlist will likely be mixed since I think the input will be for tournaments. That said, I just think aim assist could use a slight upwards nudge, no matter how separated the playlists are. Some guns just feel you’re fighting them as much as the opponent.
