Controller Setup: What's yours going to be?

I figured this needed a full-fledged poll. Now that they un-funked “Bumper Jumper”, I’ll obviously be using that, since I switched several months ago and haven’t looked back.

What will you use now, with “Sprint” being added full-time?

VOTE!

Maybe bumper jumper depending on what AA I’m using (whether you have to hold the button or not)
Possibly green thumb if I can get used to toggle crouch and B for crouch
If no to both of those, it’ll have to be recon

Recon

Bumper jumper.

Bumper Jumper.

Switched to it recently after using H3 Default/Reach Recon for years and I love it.

Recon. Definitely Recon. Fell in love with it in Reach, so I’ll most likely be sticking with it.

Been my trusty controls since 2009!

Well on most times, I just go with the default settings, see what is different about the controls. It could be the same controls as Reach. Or it could be the same as Halo 3. Halo 4 looks like it has a lot of new things you can use with a remote but who knows. That’s my opinion. I like default. I like recon as well.

I hope they add mine, I call it classic, otherwise I dont know.

Recon. I like the controller scheme for 3. So I have just stuck with it.

Well, I wish they would change Sprint with Crouch on Default, or else I will be forced to Crouch with B and my thumb will hurt by pressing the stick the whole time for Sprint. :expressionless:

I liek how hardly anyone is using default

Default or Recon… I just think having the Action/Reload button on RB is a waste since I could just as easily move my finger to X.

Default has the problem of having crouch at B, which is again poor.

None are ideal, so I guess I’ll have to try out these two during the campaign first night.

Exactly, the only reason action/reload was ever on the bumper was because of Dual Wielding, so you could reload both weapons separately with the bumpers. Every time I replay Halo 3’s Campaign I just fail with clicking the right button when I try to melee or reload. Thanks to that I often throw a Power Drain on myself…

And that Crouch is on B is obviously stupid… You use Crouch a lot more and way different than in other games, that’s why it has to stay on the left thumbstick.

Default and I’m a hipster

I am the only person that voted for fish sticks but if I didn’t want to do fish sticks anymore it would probably be recon

Recon.

Got so used to it with Halo 3 and Reach.

I will be using XIM3
