Recently ive been playing extremly good in 1v1 but one match to the next my controls that ive set which is default change? pretty sure it change it to halo 4 by itself in game it set default but while playing, it was not default? i know sounds strange?

It may have just been a glitch or a server issue. Must have had an issue autosaving when you left the settings. Im not sure though, but definitely sounds like a pain.

lucky i still won the match 
but still worries me just imagine in a tournament would they stop a match because of a issue like this? im sure others have had it before . but in seriousness i think the ranking system in head on head is broken

What did it place you in after the 18 Wins and where did it drop after you lost the 1 match?

if u look in my game history, i won the first 10 unranked matches to get my plat 5 rank, lost the next match. won the next 18 matches in a row and im still plat 5. then lost the 19th match lost then 18 games worth of rank xp. its broken as hell

I did check your game history. You’ve won enough to not be Plat haha. Just be careful. If you lose another match, you’ll drop to silver.

Just had another game and the controls changed again? this could be a problem?
I don’t know why it does this, but I’ve had it happen before as well. And there doesn’t seem to be a way to undo it while in a game. I tried changing the control scheme, exiting the menu, and changing it back. Nothing. Granted, it doesn’t happen often, but it’s frustrating when it does. Yet another example of something that’s not polished in the game. It’s awesome you were able to get wins despite the controls changing up on you though!

I wonder if it has something to do with the way the map is loaded up. For whatever reason, your settings aren’t loading in as they should and the game is defaulting to whatever it thinks it the right one without the option to change anything. I don’t know of a fix :-/
Just switch layouts and switch back. It fixes it when it happens to me.

I’ve had this happen to me probably 3 times ever, and each time threw me off (because I play with legacy sticks) and simply switching didn’t fix it. You have to make sure you switch it to the one labelled Default and THEN back to the one you want or it wouldn’t change.

In the case of button layout switching, the game reverts to Halo 4 controls. Switch the button layout to Halo 4, I exit the menu at this point but it’s probably not required, then switch back.
In case of sticks switching, the sticks revert to default. Switch to default then switch back. Both are the same method and both may occur.
