This is a first. I just got done playing a arena matchmaking game. All of my buttons had different functions then what they were set for. I checked mid game under controller settings and the setup was right. Has this happened to anyone else?
Yes twice to me and once that I know of to a mate of mine . Stupidly annoying, take the loss and for me it reset itself by the next game . Also I have no idea why it did it , sorry
Maybe they should stop trying to tune the weapons and tune the actual game!! I just went to play match macthnaking again and my controls are switched again! This is the second time in 24 hours. How the heck are the control settings changing on there own?

Is there another person who plays on your account? That’s like the only rational explanation for your controls getting switched up. My brother and I would often share accounts and adjust the controls to our personal preferences between matches.
I think this is just an older glitch. I remember reading about this happening to other people awhile back.
Happened to myself during a game and wondered what the hell was going on. After a few deaths checking settings, I simply turned off the controller midgame, turned it back on and it sorted itself. Basically reboot your pad not the console or game to fix.

That’s what I was thinking…Possibly the controller needs an update.

No sir. It has not happened since and only those two times. Really crazy though.
It is 2020 and this still happens for me.

Yep. It happens occasionally but it’s an easy fix.
Let’s keep an eye on the thread dates and avoid bumping old ones though.
