Hey I posted this in another topic but I decided to make a new one so that more people could read it and maybe get some feed back on the idea. Just read and let me know what your think.
Is it a terrible idea or could it work?
What problems do you have with the Controller Scheme setup in correlation to AA’s in Reach?
What ideas do you have for making it better in Halo 4?

I definitely need Bumper Jumper, as will many competitive players. So im sure it will be making a return.
If the AA’s are default then im ok with sprint being (x) again cause you just have press it once and it goes on its own, so you dont have to take your finger off of the stick too long.
As for jump boost I dont know. I dont really like jet pack in reach because it makes you too vulnerable on pretty much every map except the cage, which is an awful map anyways that should have never been made in my opinion. But even if I want to use jet pack it cant be done very easily because I have to take my thumb off of the the aiming joystick to stay in the air, which makes it nearly impossible to shoot and hit a target while flying.
But its my understanding that jump boost, or whatever its being called, wont actually work quite the same as the jet pack from reach. So it might actually be in my best interest to use in some cases and wont just make me an air borne target waiting to get shot down like a game of Duck Hunt. So id really like to be able to use it without having to give up my ability to shoot someone. If it works properly and I am able to use it while still shooting and being able to aim my gun then it could be very useful and beneficial in some close battles.
Perhaps there will be a way to double click the button to turn it on and off or something. Like suppose they set sprint and jump boost to be used with (x) and you could cycle to which one you want by pressing a direction on the D-Pad. So with sprint you could just press (x) once and it would sprint until the energy bar/circle thing ran out or until you hit (x) again, just like it works in reach. And to use the jump boost you would hit say down on the D-Pad to switch to jump boost and then double click (x) and it would go up on its own until either the energy bar/circle thing ran out or until you double click (x) again. Essentially this could work with out having to use the D-Pad. Just click once for sprint and double click for jump boost. I just hope they make it so that it can effectively be used with all control schemes and wont limit your ability to either move or aim.
These ideas ive posted are entirely for the Bumper Jumper control scheme but theoretically could work for any of them.
