Vibration on/off settings are equally as important as Look Inversion. This beta will be unplayable for some.
I’m researching how to open the controller, so I can snip the wires that make the rumble happen. Can I do this? I don’t want to break the whole controller, or get banned for opening a controller and playing the beta with it.
There is nothing about opening a controller that will get you banned, it will just void the warranty of the controller itself if you had any time left on it. The controller uses a #8 Security torx bit so you will need to get one of those first before you can open it. Beyond that its pretty easy. remember to snip the wires that are going to the triggers too. While you’re in there you might as well remove the big rumble motors that are in the handles, it makes the controller significantly lighter. Leave the ones behind the triggers where they are and just cut the wires to them.
When putting the case back together, it helps to depress the triggers a little bit for the bottom part. You will know what i mean when you get there.
Just don’t wear track pants and wrestle around on a shag carpet before you open it and you’ll be fine.

I am one of those people who can’t play the beta because of the rumble.
