Controller Players Living in the Past Are Infinite's Greatest Threat

i not care about that also that the game needs to become big at all.
so long the population on the xbox console is it all good for me thats all.

anti cheat is never going to fix the problem at all.
since there is no 100% anti cheat software that can stop 100% all the cheaters in any game at all.
like i told on the cheating threads.
there need 2-3 day’s before there update the cheating software to bypass the new anti cheat software.
when developers from the game’s need about weeks to make the anti cheat strong so its a lose fight from the start all since day 1 343 has lost the fight against the cheaters in halo.

halo 4 has done good with only the xbox population.
halo reach has done good with the xbox population.
halo 5 has done good with the xbox population.

3 old halo game’s that have done good without the PC platform.

but how long will everyone stay on console because the better the game the harder it is to run on Xbox and more people are moving to PC every day so this isn’t a very good argument to say that halo is a game that will always be played on just xbox’s

i definitely saw this coming

You guys are fooling yourselves if you think ignoring the pc community does not matter at all.

first: there is a good reason why halo most stay on the console only and that move it also to the PC platform was the wrong move at all.

second: players are now more faster to quit the game then move between platforms since there is less and weak content it has now and some off the problems that not have been fix at all.

LoL "a new era of gaming "

Thanks for the laugh this morning.

Or here is a thought do what other games do and have social games as mixed inputs and ranked as input matchmaking. Problem solved

Every free to play/pay to play multiplayer game does have cheaters stop acting like they don’t exist the only reason why consoles don’t see that many is due to the fact the console security has ramped up a good bit and hackers had no reason to crack xbox one and series s/x wide open is due to Microsoft actually allowing people dev access so homebrew and etc could be access

On the otherhand ps4 hackers got through the console security early on which lead to people with cheated saves to ruin multiplayer games look up xv2 if you don’t believe me although it may not be a free game it shows that cheating is possible on console and the main reason we don’t see cheaters and hackers on xbox is because of its security and the fact we can use the dev function if we wanted to which has the majority of the hacking scene having no reason to bypass the security as they have access to the stuff they want and can homebrew and make games

Even if they had one they would have to have a separate team constantly working on it and updating it which requires tons of manpower ESPECIALLY For a free to play game

Manpower that 343 doesn’t have because of a stupid business decision

Cheaters will work around a anti cheat anti cheat workers will update to close the workaround cheaters will find another way and so on

As a behavior employee once said it’s a arms race

If we are to raise the topic, then only the separation of the PC from the consoles. Because this is an eternal confrontation. I’m in favor of being able to choose which platform you want to play with. I think it will be easier for everyone. Console players will disable PC players 98% of the time, I’m sure of it. This should be done in every game. Then PC players with keyboards, mice, macros, scripts and cheats will have fun playing with each other and spoil each other’s mood. Console players with gamepads don’t kill games. They are killed by PC players with cheats and other illegal software. Go to reviews for any multiplayer game - PC cheaters, PC cheaters, PC cheaters.

Yeah. No. The problem is far beyond player input. Lmao.

I completely agree, if they fixed the movement to be more like Halo Reach’s with proper momentum we wouldn’t be having this constant back and forth about aim assist.

I agree I feel the movement plays a big part in how aiming works in halo infinite

I hope this is (failed) trolling cause wow. No just no. Absutely not the case. Absolute fantasy.

Can a console player hook up a mouse and keyboard on xbox?

Pretty sure you can, why not try?

Buddy there are numerous f2p games that have virtually no cheating going on due to proper anti-cheat. Obviously people are going to try to cheat in popular f2p games, but to sit here and think Microsoft doesn’t have the manpower to combat cheaters in a video game is just mindboggling to me. It’s clearly incompetence from the upper level management of 343 thinking they had it in better control than they did. The same cheaters ran rampant for months on end to start the game. MONTHS, ON THE SAME ACCOUNTS. Oh, but yea… let’s blame the legitimate M/K users and alienate them out of our already dead game. You’re clueless man. Stay stuck in 2006 with the rest of the Xbox users man. Foh with these BS responses. Clueless.

The aim assist in this game on controller is pittiful compared to Destiny 2, which is insanely generous. Yet Destiny 2 players all agree MnK far, far more effective in it.

Heck the aim assist on controller in Infinite is pittiful compared to every other game in the franchise, compared to virtually every other shooter on the market. Yet outside of MCC, all those other franchises also live in a world where MnK is dominating.

How do you explain all these other games having much stronger controller aim assist than Infinite has, still being MnK dominant games? It’s the core mechanics of Halo that lend themselves to controller, not the aim assist itself. That’s how. Halo has a very specific pace, most franchises are about landing 0.6s or less of consistent shots on targets that have to slow their movement to fight back, not 1.4s on targets that maintain full speed while engaging you. Its easy to snap your mouse onto a target once, fire a bit, and get the kill. It’s less comfortable to have to track a strafing target for any period of time though. Especially since MnK players are used to primarily mouse-aiming instead of strafe-aiming (the act of using your movement, instead of your right stick/mouse, to line up your shot)

Do me a favor rq look up how many employees are at 343 rn

And look up how many of those work on the anti cheat

Nice assumption there buddy i play on both console and pc also i didn’t say anything about mnk in fact they should work on the support as it could be better but acting like controllers are the main reason the game was dying is laughable
