In order for the Halo community and game to grow, and the PC/EU community (mostly KBM) to return or not fully leave, it would be nice to add some HCS KBM only tournaments with a lower prize pool.
80% of the price pool should go to the HCS Controller tournaments and 20% for the HCS KBM tournaments.
KBM can be the WNBA of Halo and grow, but in order for that to happen we need your help since 95% of this forum is made of Controller players.
Please reply, give your KBM playerbase a chance to be part of the competitive scene and Halo! You guys are our last hope, let’s get this post to the top so that we can get some feedback from 343 before Halo dies on PC.
No AA nerf, no ballance, just give us a chance to have our own way of competing and cheering for our own pro’s.
Competitive eSports tournaments and prize fund allocation doesn’t impact the overwhelming majority of the playerbase (99.99999% for arguments sake) regardless of what platform or input they play on, so there should be absolutely no objections to this even if it was an equal prize fund.
Good luck with that. With people claiming there’s nothing wrong with aim assist, aim assist doesn’t exist on muh console, KBM players just need to git gud, aim assist is weak in Infinite along with every other inaccurate claim they can make up, you’ll never get them to reason with you.
I still think we should see some form of kbm tournaments. This crossplay crap ain’t cutting it for me. It’s just alienates the smaller playerbase.
That being kbm because not only is it the harder input to use, but it’s not mainstream in the halo scene.
It’s going to be hard to get players to try kbm if they’ve already comfortable with controller. If they don’t want to switch, we need to respect that and not force them to.
343 doesn’t seem to care about their mnk playerbase and it doesn’t seem they ever will. If you are on mnk just dont take the game seriously as it’s just a controller game because 343 doesn’t take mnk seriously.
I dont want to stomp controller players all i ask is to feel like the limitation comes from me as an fps player and not because of the input i chose. Its just sad that halo is my favourite franchise and the only game that i can’t ever compete at. The only reason i dont play controller is because i moved to pc after halo 5 and been on mnk eversince and i want to be good at any fps game on mnk as i develop as a player.
We cant do anything if 343 keeps ignoring us. Look at MCC. There are no Mnk players left. I dont want that for halo infinite. I want to play this game for 5 plus years like i did with halo ce - halo reach.
I’m a PC player that simply gave up an purchased a controller. I still play on my PC, cause I’m not paying $500 for a console to play one game on. But tbh, they either need to find a way to balance it or PC players just gotta buy a controller. Simple as that.
Not sure I like the segregation that is proposed, but I do think having different divisions could be beneficial and grow the competitive scene. They do this in many activities, like have lower or amateur divisions, so people of varying levels can compete. Then again, not many will care to watch the lower divisions.
Yeah totally. No one elses opinions or experiences matter right?
Dont know how many times you need to comment your hatred for controller users. Not like every controller user has listened to pc master race and to get gud in every game ever.
How about we fix things first, make sure things work correctly and accurately for all platforms and then see.
Or add input crossplay options. Pretty sure pc will still be at the top there though as it’s not just a controller issue.
The game lacks content and has alot of issues as well as huge pay walls. Inputs arent the only reason the games losing players no matter what people claim
i’d like to see M+K only tournaments. but i wouldn’t make the price pool smaller. it should be the same, bc otherwise you would give of the impression, that you don’t see M+K players as equally viable and that the price pool is only consisting of some leftover crums they could throw out.
(i’m a controller player btw. maybe i’ll try out M+K someday. but i’m sure i’ll never reach the level to compete in any of these tournaments)
Sure I would watch a MKB tournament, Started watching Dustin (mouse handicap) a few weeks back and it was interesting to see a different input/style.
Have been following their HCS journey ever since.
Pc crashes/optimisation are a problem at the moment. Would it be better for the mkb community to wait until things are fixed or would they accept playing mkb on xbox?
