I usually have the default layout for my controller but somehow, between a WZFF and a Slayer game, the layout reverted to classic on its own.
Is this a common occurence? It is the second time that it happens to me.
happened to me too, spent ages trying to sort it since the only thing i ever do to a controller layout is invert the y axis.

I’ve had this happen a few times too. Confused the hell out of me when I wasn’t sprinting, and threw a grenade instead of reloading!
When it happens, I pause (with the menu button) access the controller settings, and flip across one setting, then back (eg, if I’m normally on default, I switch it to recon etc, then straight back) press ok and it’s fine again.
Absolute pain though
Now that I think of it, the only place it happened to me (as far as I can remember) is on Empire. It must have happened to the other members of my team as well because they threw grenades out right at the start.
I nearly always play warzone, but have had it happen on Sanctum and Noctus
