I switched up my button layout today for the first time since I started playing this game. Got me wondering, does anyone have stats or numbers on controller layouts used by players?
343 would most likely be the only ones with that info.
I’d imagine that Helljumper, Bumper Jumper, Default, and Recon being the more popular controller layouts. Just my thoughts.
I don’t think there’s a source for that kind of info, but I’d guess that the Bumper Jumper layouts (Helljumper and Bumper Jumper) and Default are the most popular.
I actually use the Halo 4 layout… I can’t be the only one, right?

I’d say this is correct.
I tried to mimic Reach as closely as I could which I believe is Recon, but not 100% sure.
Could not do the default at all, was all mixed up.
Still have no idea how to ground pound, so I just don’t do it.

Ground Pound is activated by holding down your melee button (whatever it may be) while in midair.
I’ll assume that most players don’t use claw and prefer SmartLink on the left trigger, so Helljumper makes snese. Although if I was placing a bet, I’d say default by sheer number of people who play very casually.
i use helljumper on 3.5,3,1

II use it too though I have button mapped b to left bumper to crouch easier
No one would have them. But it’s pretty well known most popular is recon or bumper jumper

Recon’s closer to Halo 3. I’d say closest to Reach is Halo 4.
