Controller layout bug

So i usually just play on Halo 5s default controller layout but this morning after a few games my controller layout completely changed going into a game, and in the options the layout was still set to default but it was DEFINITELY NOT default.
default layout i run is
LB : grenade LT : Aim down sights RB: Melee/charge RT: shoot
Y: weapon cycle X : reload B: thruster A: Jump RS: Crouch LS: Sprint

but it was changing my layout to
LT : Melee LB: thruster RT: grenade RB: shoot
X and Y were both normal. B: nothing A:crouch RS: scope/sprint

I reset the console but it still did it, but i dont know many people with halo 5 so im not sure if its just my controller bugging out (its a standard Xbox one S controller)
or some sort of game bug? It didnt do it on warzone or fiesta but it did do it on shotty snipers and social quick play so im not sure if its the gamemode? but its very annoying

Just swap layouts, save, then swap back. Should save it.

I’ve had it happen to me a couple times and that usually fixes it.

It does seem to fix the problem, but every so many games it keeps coming back so surely its a bug in the system
makes it kind of rough when youre on a mad killing spree then all of a sudden your controls swap out xD
