I have a wired PowerA controller, and just recently, it won’t let me charge certain weapons (plasma pistol and plasma caster). I can still shoot weapons, including other charged based weapons (Rail gun, Spartan laser, grenade launcher, etc.) Any insight on this will be much appreciated.

That’s more a controller thing, not a Halo thing. You’ll want to check with the manufacturer, likely.

Do you have a app that you setup your controller with? I’m not familiar with PowerA, but the Elite controller you have to go into the setup app and tweak the settings to enable you to charge a plasma pistol when you have the hair trigger turned on.

All I have is the default button mapping. I’m so lost here. I can’t seem to find anything on Google about this either.
Worse case scenario, you may have to open up your controller (which requires a torx security screw bit) and repair it from there. I have to repair my controllers as the LB on my original controller broke off entirely, and the RB on my other controller is feeling rather loose at the moment.
Do you have the fusion controller? If that’s the case try turning off quick trigger.

Your welcome. Like I said with my Elite controller I have a separate app for the controller to remap buttons, triggers and thumb sticks, plus set sensitivity. I had the same problem the plasma not charging when controller was set to hair trigger. The Elite app lets you keep hair trigger but you have to go into the app and tweak the trigger settings.
