Controller Input Ranked Cheaters?

Don’t know about anyone else, but I’m starting to think there are cheaters on Ranked everywhere. Even on Controller input in Solo/Duo matches. Cause I was in one match where players new exactly where I was all the time and more than one person on the team knew EXACTLY where to shoot before I even first make contact.

Yes pc players have many tools at their disposal. Many of them cheat. Welcome to playing video games. People cheat on consoles too. Those Xbox things are able to load lucrative mods that surpass what’s available on pc because they are built from the ground up with the intent to cheat at the game.

Controller input settings under Solo/Duo doesn’t mean ‘Not on PC’
It just means they are using a gamepad.
Using aimbots and wall hacking is nearly entirely a PC occurrence. This is why so many console players want a Console only setting in the menu. It would remove loads of these cheaters for console players as least.
I’m not even aware of an Xbox aimbot or wall hack mod. But could be wrong…

I play on pc with a controller and don’t cheat. I’m having a good time but I swear I’ve never seen so many players with such good aim, which I find odd considering how minimal aim assist is in this game. After all, the forums are full of complaints about how goofy the aim is. So how is it that everybody is such a good shot?

Modded controllers work on both PC and console so yes it’s common.

That’s BS because there are controllers modded to cheat too.
You can separate the two and you will still have cheaters on the consoles. It’s not going away.

The best solution for PC right now is to hurry the heck up and implement an anti cheat to wave ban cheaters.

Modded controllers don’t enable aimbots and wall hacks.
Which I have saved video of, and no, not inconclusive video. Blatant head snapping and wall tracking with the tell tale 10-15sec pause to toggle on the hacks before it all starts happening. And yes, I have reported via Waypoint. This is not rare. It is rampant. Just because there are real gamers out there on PC not wanting to cheat, doesn’t mean the majority of cheaters aren’t PC players. Find me a link to a Console player with hacking software, and I’ll change my mind.
A kernal level anticheat needs administering within the ecosystem, and an option for console only gaming. Period.

Why do people even cheat? Seems like a lot of work to go through for some meaningless video game accolades that mean nothing in the real world.

No offence, but you should really research stuff yourself before you take such a strong stance on it.

Low self esteem is probably the reason

Lol

Lmao… Did YOU even watch it?

It’s not even an available hack. It’s flawed as all hell. And it’s for Warzone.
Sure maybe one day it will work properly and be available for Halo Infinite, but NOT TODAY!
We are discussing cheating right now. Not future cheating.
It also requires a PC to implement, if you understood what you were watching.

That would be a nightmare to use in Ranked. You’d blast every teammate that walked into your ‘cheat zone’

Just saying… If you’re going to cheat anyway, and need a PC to accomplish it, why would you purchase peripherals, and go through all the AI learning setup, when your PC can easily apply cheats already without the extra steps?
Just to be able to ‘nearly match’ PC cheats on console?

I must be too ambitious in reality to understand such dedication to deceive people in the digital world.

Name a recent scandal where they were cheating on Consol? it’s much harder to cheat on Xbox. And if you do get find out. You get console band. Unlike PC where you just make a new account start all over. And if you’re talking about strike packs that reduced recoil I crap on those kids.

I too share in these craps.

That particular one isn’t available anymore since user101 got too much exposure and got issued a cease and desist from activision.

Cheats for console 100% exist in the dark corners of the internet, and clearly that video is a proof of concept.
The peripherals used to make that video happen already exist, and will continue to be developed on past what you have seen here.

And of course it requires a PC. but if you’ve spent more than a week on the internet you’d know people will do whatever it takes to get an edge… I’m willing to take a stab in the dark and assume own both a console and some form of PC, right?

Just ask yourself, Ii that guy can figure it out - how many other people can?

Oh I completely agree. I’m just stating that cheating is larger than just the PC space.

Unfortunately I’m not sure a kernal level anticheat will work. The reason I say this is the one for warzone was just released and it’s still full of cheating.

Right now… The majority of cheating is software based, and not on console. That is just the facts of the matter.
If a few random people go to the extent to find over complicated work arounds on console, so be it. But separating console from PC… Now, still takes the number of cheaters down immensely and immediately.
Having an option to separate the two platforms is an added feature. If you don’t think it’s a problem than you just wouldn’t use it.
I’d rather sacrifice 10-20 sec of load time to only get a cheater rarely, than to save that time, but get one constantly every few rounds.
I’m not alone on that.
If they could add the option until they have a more robust anticheat in place for PC, that would quell alot of people’s frustrations and help to maintain the player base for longer.
If the cheating persists, this game will start to hemorrhage users. As the franchise is my favorite of all time, I’d rather they take immediate steps to avoid that.

The fact that one exists is better than what we seem to have right now (none with a police force of unpaid users)
If their anticheat software sucks it’s probably still doing a better job than the lack of anticheat that seem to be in halo right now. An existing system can be updated to do better. Right now it seems 343 is just letting it run rampant with an attitude that ‘it’s all just part of free to play’
If that’s so, charge us $25 and fix your broken game.

the anti cheat has not been implemented in warzone yet false news

I don’t know what to tell you man.

I’ve showed you a video like you requested, and surely you can understand how they don’t exist just for that one game.
You can stand behind your wall of ignorance and naivety, but the actual “fact of the matter” is that cheats exist on console, and people definitely use them. The infrastructure of consoles just doesn’t allow developers to detect cheats because they emulate a controller in a completely different way than PC cheats work.

As I said in my original comment, you should really research things first - You clearly have no idea of what you’re talking about in regards to the topic and are just spouting what you think you know.

I don’t condone cheating, and would scrutinize anyone who does it, but I’m well aware it does happen, and have taken the time to investigate these certain forums to find out how they are bypassing the system, and what they can actually achieve with computer vision.
