Controller exposed - Video

Nobody in the KBM community is saying to “disable” aim assist, we’re simply saying it needs to be toned down.

The only bug, and has been patched, was aim assist would turn off on PC if you pressed enter on your keyboard at the main screen. We already went over all the myths about aim assist not working on console/controller and I uploaded and video proving that it still works.

also don’t forget that 343 added the mechanic that when your targets shields pop your AA goes to 0

Let’s plan another night, where are you located?

You never watched the OP’s second video then

I give up, I’ll just tell you. On Xbox Series X, you have a graphic option which you can see in the video. On PC, you have multiple graphic options along with your VRAM usage, which you can also see in the video. So, to answer your original question “so how do we know if you are lying? Controllers are wireless and you didn’t show which system was plugged into which monitor.” Use your head.

Also false…

I did use my head.
The obvious thing to see was A MOUSE THAT ZIPPED AROUND ON THE MONITOR AND STAYED ON THE RIGHT SIDE !

And upon seeing that little mouse, my reaction is of course -

My experience has been awful on console. Unless something was changed recently the aim assist is non-existent at best. PC is just the better way to play regardless of your input method. On console my aim assist has been null even during the flights on the same platform.

I have done further testing after my last Waypoint posts, and it does seem to exist ever so slightly at least in customs, but it’s so weak it might as well not even be there. PC on the other hand makes the game actually playable for at least me for both MnK and controller input methods.

Rather than just declaring everyone you disagree with liars it’s probably worth seeing if there are other factors that can cause problems. With all the server problems that are still ongoing would that really be shocking at this point?

I’m not just telling you, I’m showing you proof in a video.

Like I said earlier, maybe that it due to high ping games. If I can get a few guys from different parts of the world I can test that out, too.

Like I said a controlled experiment is completely different than real matchmaking. every time and I mean every time I pop someone’s shields my AA goes out of the window. sometimes, I even get negative AA. I have been playing Halo since '03 or '04 so i know what I’m talking about

Great. Now I have to watch a 25 minute video.

Can you post timestamps of what you want me to see?

This doesn’t mean you know what you’re talking about. I’ve been playing Halo since 2001, does that mean I know what I’m talking about more than you? No, it doesn’t. Facts are facts, it works and is not broken. Matchmaking and custom games are different, but they’re not different. They’re all played on the same servers and same maps within the same game.

As I said before, maybe it’s due to high ping games but we don’t know for sure…yet but, right now we know it works 100%.

It’s above and also pined in the comments on the video.

whatever, can we all agree that one way or another AA in this game is totally F***ed

You can see now what I was referring to. People insist AA vanishes when shields pop, but I think that was either fixed since you just showed it works, or it’s just desync and the server and client desync is causing the AA to not work since that person isn’t actually standing in that spot
