I could test this out also. I can throttle my router once I’m connected to a server. Let me see what kind of ping I can get in a custom game that way.

I throttled my router down to 1mb for both download and upload, still gave me a 5ms ping. I’m on the East cost, if someone from West cost and someone in the UK want to help me let me know.
Have you considered having discord and chrome open to increase ping? You can try uploading a large video on discord with your 1mb upload throttle and probably throw your ping up in the 200s+

M&K is pin point aim with the ability to turn around instantaneously, and if you’re really dedicated you can extend how wide your vision is with wide screen. Aim assist exists to not only make FPS games playable on console, but also to bridge the gap between M&K and controller.

You can turn it on the the settings somewhere, I think under the GUI section. You can check boxes to display your ping and your frame rate.
My TV/XBSX combo maxes at 60FPS when I’m running 4k, so I just have ping displaying

This is how all the lies start, “I saw a video that shows PC aim assist is like aim bot”. No, no you didn’t. You saw how it is on both Xbox and PC.
Oh I did. And I saw that aim assist is turned up higher than it actually is in game. Because I have been playing Infinite on the Series X and I have NEVER seen it move like that dude.
I have been playing Halo since 2002. Never touched Halo on PC.
Aim assist is that strong in the more classic games. Halo Infinite has it actually weaker than that.
Besides, if AA was as strong as you present it as in Halo Infinite, I would have an average firerange accuracy of 90% and I would have a lot more victories under my belt.

Thought you watched the beginning of the video? I clearly mention and show which side is what. Anyway, left side was Xbox Series X and right side was PC.
Okay… … … so how do we know if you are lying? Controllers are wireless and you didn’t show which system was plugged into which monitor.

Sidebar. I can get on the warthog turret on Behemoth and aim at the enemy spawn points, pull the trigger and not aim. Aim assist will do all the work for me. Playing on a Series S. Ping varies. But I feel like I’ve also experienced it desyncing.

Are you serious. Watch the very beginning, when I’m in the menus on EACH system. Do you see a difference there between the consoles menu and PC menu? I’ll wait until you can tell me what’s in the PC menu that is not in the console menu.

All this does is confirm that I still want cross play to be able to be turned off.
PC players don’t want to play with console players.
Console players don’t want to play with PC players.
PC players complain about Aim Assist.
Console players complain about Mouse and Keyboard spin-speed and accuracy weapon advantage.

At this rate the thread is going to devolve into “disable controller aim assist, so I can get large kill streaks”.
Given the inconsistency of everyone’s reports there’s probably something not being accounted for regarding aim assist. There’s already bugs that outright disable aim assist on controller that can be found on YouTube. Is it so unlikely there’s not another variable that’s creating these inconsistencies?
