I think the main difference is time to kill. Mnk benefits massively from short ttk where controller and aim assist benefit from longer ttk and the the ither bonus fact aiming for the head doesn’t give a boost for most hits.
There is an easy solution to all this make it optional. Give people the choice
I play on both PC and series x and my average accuracy is the same across both platforms. There’s no difference, maybe you’re just getting a higher frame rate with your series x which makes it easier to play
Pretty late into the video (near 22:03 I think?) he wiggles the mouse and the right screen moves.
It’s still possible to play Halo: Infinite on console with a keyboard and mouse. The real proof that one is PC and one isn’t is that the right side does not have a red crosshair while the left side does.
Kinda like the one where you keep saying geo-filtering is cheating. Over and over and over. Despite just about ever single other contributor on that topic disagreeing with you…
same i left the game because of this poor act of balance from 343i. Shows that none of the people on the “pro team” are actual gods on kbm. Theyre pretty dumb
PUBG and Halo are different breeds. Halo is the better game to get both inputs closer to be balancing than PUBG is. PUBG corp. even said they don’t want aim assist in their game, therefor they’ll never support cross platform with PC.
It also seems like most people here never played PUBG, I mean you even thought PUBG used aim assist. I highly recommend at least trying it out. If you enter the BR for your first time, you’ll play against bots. One thing for sure, every game is 100 players and you hardly see the same names in your game twice a night.
They don’t understand this. They will go to great lengths to convince the developers to remove aim assist completely, but it always fails with every game they try. I would consider watching the OP’s videos if every PC player on this site came foward and admitted that they don’t want to play with console players. Or at the least admit that they’d be fine with crossplay being optional. If they fail to acknowledge one of those two statements, it’ll just further prove that they’re pushing for an unfair advantage against us.
Don’t want to be harsh, but I am a casual, I don’t have 2 hours a day to play halo ( weekends maybe 1of the 2 days) .
If a casual wants to be good they need to put the time in, if they are ok with being casuals they don’t care if they have 100%Hs accuracy or not.
Aim assist is like a crutch even after you healed your “injuries” ( this for mnk only) besides aiming with aim assist on mnk (imo) is very counter intuitive.
On controller it’s a necessary to balance “against” mnks fine aim precision and movements, but as it currently sits it’s just too strong.
Many players will have a big, big disappointment if the aim assistance gets “corrected”, they will start losing more and more gunfights to ( actually) better players and start blaming the game and eventually leave in frustration.
( I played on Xbox exclusively for abou 10 years or so went back to pc about 5ago ( my dude I was bad on pc like really bad) I feel I can speak for both “sides” , I tried controller on pc many many times in different games and I chose mnk that’s is my decision and you don’t see me complain about the inequality in any other game, In halo I can tell if it’s a roller or mnk player really fast and that is NOT good (it means it lacks balance).
See this is what makes me laugh you don’t complain about the inequality in other games as crissplay has only become a common thing recently.
You understood that the majority where on the same platform. With crossplay becoming the norm your preffered input type is now effected which is why you are unhappy about it.
The easiest solution is make it optional the two can’t be balanced.
Take rb6 on console there is no aim assist you couldn’t put mnk against controller. Aim assist doesn’t need to be present for the game to succeed on console it just needs to be fair and trying to balance two inputs is impossible and will always lead to an advantage to one type. Its just this one game hasn’t balanced to your preferred input
