Controller exposed - Video

Nothing to stop a PC player that hacks from using a controller, been plenty of accusations going round certain pros & they are using controllers on pc.
So your statement is false nonsensical bias.

okay whatever mr KBM these threads are dumb AF, most of the pros have been pros since H2 or H3 why the hell would they start using aimbots now

Only thing making these threads dumb are the people that lack critical unbiased thinking, posting in them.

good luck with that, i’ll be honest i dont give a poo about kbm or controller they both suck in this game, we’d be better off aiming with a nintendo switch wheel at this point

You might be the only one on this entire forum that’s making the minimal semblance of a sane, cognitive opnion

lmao thanks, i guess

agreed the aiming does feel off and input delay is super high. Game needs to address this first then the aim assist balance issue.

You see, I can understand WHY PC players are mad about this, but instead of actively solving your own problem, KBM players just continue to throw shade on console players for using controllers when 343/Microsoft is the one to blame for forcing you guys to play against a tilt(at least we gotta deal with more cheaters now, something I haven’t ran into since Halo 2 or 3). Even so, they offer us ALL an equal, and simple solution… use a controller. This is a game dominated by rollers, so get with the program because you alone are restricting your own gameplay by continuing to use KBM when you know damn well it is inferior. WHEN or IF 343 changes this, you can go back to your preferred input.

Thats just how much better at precise snap aiming KB&M is. When first shot kills, controller just loses 9 times out of 10. If you’d like to try and argue that, go play CS with a controller and see how that goes.

well i would rather play something else but doubt they would address this at all because snip3down has even said that nerfing aim assist would make the average and below average suck so much they would leave.

Wait…you have to lead your snots with the Stalker Rifle? Maybe that’s why I get nothing but assists with the thing.

I’ve seen how good aim assist is. However, there is a significant bug. A friend of mine plays on PC as do I, both use controllers.
He gets a good solid aim assist and his cursor moves back and forth with the strafe. However I do not get the same. My cursor doesnt move at all.

There is a big issue with the aim assist on PC with the controller, that for sure I know.

Dont even compare a pay to win game to halo. D2 is not a competitive game.

Well, it is not a pay to win game as all in game store items are 100% cosmetic (same with Halo Infinite). You cannot buy better armor or weapons.

Anyway, I never claimed it was a competitive game. All I claimed is that it is a FPS just like Halo Infinite is. Where the aim assist for controller is way stronger than in Halo Infinite yet M&K is considered supreme. Therefore I don’t think pure aim assist is the issue with Halo Infinite. It has to be something else/more.

love how you try to show controller and kbm strafing is 1 to 1, fail and are just like “yeah it doesnt work like that” on the notion of ‘just trust me bro’

as for aim assist, it literally works like that in every video game that has it, nothing new, so do me a favour, post your road to onyx on controller seeing as its so easy, hell why not even compete at a Lan this year?

People on these forums you need to get this through your thick skull, there is a reason why 99% o proplayer teams are using controller instead of mnk.
There is a. Reason why the best mnk player got wrecked in HCS.

Say it with me: controller has big, big aim assist and in part it makes sense it helps most casuals feel like they can compete with higher skilled player that said it needs balancing…

ItzTheDay took a pretty long time ( just speculating) to make these videos, thank you for that MVP awarded.

Regardless of all the excuses nothing changes the facts shown in the videos.

And again it’s ok(ish), sometimes knowing is just enough.

The stronger bullet mag that comes with controller is another part of it.

This might explain why AA feels non existent to me. I actually try to aim. I mean, that is what I assumed I needed to do… right? This is so backwards if you ask me.

Most likely, yes it’s caused by trying to aim too much. Within error of aiming too much, there’s bullet mag that is also assisting you.

When PUBG came out in preview on Xbox, their forums were flooded with people saying the game needed aim assist. PUBG was very active on their boards and explained why they will not add aim assist in their game. Took a while to adjust to it, but it is doable. There is no aim assist or bullet mag whatsoever in PUBG and the hit boxes are the characters body. You can shoot between their arm and body and it will not count as a hit. You can shoot between the legs and will not count as a hit. The game relies totally on your aiming.

Yeah sort of. It’s kinda a hybrid of both hitscan and projectile.
