Can’t disagree with that. Fortunately, have only played against 1. In crossplay, nearly every game is 7/8 controller players. The 1/8 being me with M&K.
How so? I’m non stop strafing and it’s still tracking.
Meanwhile, I keep getting Challenges for Tactical Slayer, and it’s just ripe with sus players. Really annoying.
What I show also applies in SWAT, which is why controller still has the advantage. This is why maps like Behemoth is so much of an advantage for controller.
All I’m saying is my accuracy on kbm is 49.1%, my accuracy on controller is 51.9%.
I’ve been playing on controller for 25 years and I’ve been playing on kbm for about 10-15 hours and I struggle using the keyboard for movement still.
Y’all are just playing on too high a sensitivity I’m sure of it. An experienced player on mouse should not be finding it this hard to match a controller player in terms of accuracy.
At it’s current state, you never will. Not even with Shrouds skills.
What if Shroud played on a low sensitivity like I do? I play ridiculously slow. I play a 2-3 on Infinite for Controller and I have my mouse settings to match. I can’t 180 with it on a single swipe, it’s very slow.
Shroud is Shroud, he is the human aim bot. Nobody knows what settings Shroud should use but Shroud.
Auto aim plus bullet magnetism, but controller mains deny any aim assist. This is why I use controller when my challenges require a lot of headshots or perfects and I’m not in the mood to use mouse, since it’s much easier to get them on a controller.
I only use mouse because controller turns so slow, and I like looking around the map with 120 FOV, but the controller aim assist is nothing close to bad. All my friends use controller. People now have full proof of that and can’t keep denying it.
It doesn’t lock onto dropped shields and won’t track while jumping so it won’t mess up your platforming, (OP proved this old myth false below) but when strafing, it’s aimbot with a BR.
This is why I don’t care about HCS. It’s not fun watching people sweat with aim assist.
Is this true or is this coming from the same ones who say there is no aim assist? Because I can test this out also.
Slower sensitivity only matters so much. When aim assist takes all the prediction of strafing out of the equation, controller will always win. Aim assist instantly tracks the persons next strafing movement, M&K can’t do that because they’re limited to their own human reaction time. Human reaction time will never be able to compete against machine reaction time.
As far as I’ve seen and heard, it intentionally only locks to people with a shield up, because headshots don’t matter until shields dropped, besides sniper type weapons with low aim assist for that reason. Once shields go down, it’s your job to hit the head, but chances are you were already aiming at them anyway. You can test it, it’d just frequently noticed. Could be a bug.
I’m still watching the video but I have to say thank you for documenting this. There have been so many videos that have done a really bad job. You’ve done a good job.
Edit: I’ve seen the whole video. Two thumbs up!

Any videos that show this is the case? I’m about to try it in a little bit.
Genuine question, have you ever used a controller? That’s not how it works.
Thank you, I appreciate that.
No videos I know of, and it would be borderline impossible to look up, but just something I’ve seen here and there on reddit posts, the forums, and some video comments. Could be untrue, but I don’t have an Xbox to test it. I’d love to see it confirmed though. End the debate once and for all.
Genuine question, did you even watch the video? The aim assist reacts instantly to the strafing players movement.
Give me a few mins and I’ll let you know for sure. Wish I knew of this claim before, I would of done in this video.
It’s exactly how it works, I just proved it! Like I said before, and even the Halo Pros will tell you. If you’re missing your shots and not winning your gun fights then you’re trying to aim too much.
