That’s all valid, but making a claim “I don’t believe for a moment that it takes more raw skill to use a m&k” is pretty ignorant.
Sounds more like a desync issue. Also the Sniper Rifle in Infinite seems more difficult to use than the last few Halo games.
Another issue you might be having is that aim assist works differently in Halo Infinite. It used to kick in when an enemy player passed through your reticle. Now it only engages when you pass your reticle over an opposing player.
Edit: Apparently AA still works the way it used to, but you now have to be moving. If you are stationary and a player passes through your reticle AA will not activate.
To be quite honest, I don’t care which takes more skill; however, controller should only be used for casual play. Once you start using controller for competitive play, the game becomes a joke, like Halo.
You cant tell who’s controller or mouse, nice lie though:)
You can’t tell whos aim botting or whos on controller, either.
let’s be honest. If I told you the left side of the screen was PC with an aim bot hack, it’s believable right?
95% of the time you can though. If you just go to halo tracker after/during your match and see which solo/duo they play.
Lol, you can very easily tell that in theatre.
I just find it funny how people know who’s on what input, you can see platform but not input
You search up every player on halo tracker huh?
Funny that, you called bulls when I said I check their profile after the match but you go to a whole new level lol
Theatre in it’s current state is not a good resource for finding a cheater. Hell, Lucid viewed a game of his in theater and tried to claim a cheater because a player pre fired a rocket in a corner and killed someone just crouched in that corner. Really?
Youve shown yet another video of similar ones that already exist, and for the most part with people standing still…sorry there is more to it then this scenario as I had said in the previous thread.
He showed strafing and jumping - both of which, I’m pretty certain, are not standing still.
No, I showed a lot more than that.
Let me correct that: I don’t believe it takes any more/less skill to use a M&k over any other form of input.
I think it’s whatever you’re most familiar with is what decides that. maybe you’re right and just out of my own ignorance I cannot fathom it.
To me using an M&k is like doing math on an abacus
vs. a calculator…sure it can be done and all but one form is superior to the other in almost every shape and form.
Not taking anything away from you guys, as said the pc players I went against wreck house…
I’m cool with a buff, but I’m not for things that give an unfair advantage. The equipment alone in a PC already gives that for the ranked playlist in terms of uncapped frames.
Maybe all playlist should be like solo/duo, where the inputs are on toggle…I feel that’s MOST fair overall. -if done this way this wouldn’t be an issue at all
Thing is, it is at an unfair advantage currently and that unfair advantage is favoring controller.
Added link to other video in OP that shows the myths being debunked.
Nice vid. i like the aim assist just the way it is. Xbox player
PS: i was to lazy, skipped to the 23m
Lol it’s so funny:
Show a controller player the advantage of accuracy on controller statistics:
Controller player - “Nah those statistics can be skewed.”
Show a controller player a video of how strong the aim assist is on controller:
Controller player - “Nah that’s not really how it is.”
Controller player trying to claim that M&K is the advantage in Halo:
Controller player - “Just trust me bro.”
You can’t reason with people that deny evidence, but can’t provide any of their own.
Well that’s obviously not aim bot…
Aim bot dont -Yoink!- at the floor haha, if they physically lock on to people through walls then yeah its obvious.
I’m sorry I cant take anyone serious who think a controller and aim bot are the same lol
No crap, but if I posted that last part and said hey guys I got aim bot hack on PC, here’s what it looks like. People would be flagging me as cheating because of the evidence I showed.
Thats not what I would call strafing. Its not an accurate respresentation of in game movement IMO. There are so many other variables that are not being taken into account.
