Has anybody experienced a bug in online co-op while in a party where the controller randomly disconnects and won’t reconnect? I have been trying to do online co-op with a friend and his controller will randomly disconnect a minute or so after starting a campaign level (We’ve only tried Halo 1 campaign levels). Eventually he’ll have to do a hard reset on his console to be able to reconnect his controller.
I’m not sure if this is a game specific bug or a more general Xbox One system bug. I have not personally experienced this bug but my friend has it occur to him every single time. We’ve tried varying combinations (he’s the party leader, sets up the game, I’m the party leader, I set the game up, etc) and in each instance he always gets a controller disconnect and I never do.
We even tried manually updating the controller drivers to see if that would fix the issue but no dice - the issue persists.
Has anyone had this happen to them? Is this an issue specifically in the MCC or is it more of a general Xbox One system software issue?
