Overall I like the feel of Infinite, but I’ve noticed some bugs and issues that I hope to see addressed in the final release.
- Custom controller key bindings. There is no way to double assign a key binding (i.e. I want to sprint with the left stick but also double zoom in with the left stick too, but it makes me choose between the two). - adjusting the field of view settings will delete your legs in first person view - disabling sprint lines doesn’t work consistently (super cheesy animation btw, makes the game feel like anime) - Aiming feels heavy on controller. Sniping feels like you’re pushing the gun, not having it keep up with your thumb stick movement. - grenade swapping is unintuitive - t-bagging while looking at the ground creates a broken animation where your character skips from beginning to end of the animation. Feels very unpolished. - wish there was a way to throw grenades at map weapons to have them bounce toward you like in H3. also I have noticed grenade jumps aren’t a thing. These features make movement and map/weapon control easier for advanced players and I would like to seem them added. - needs to be a way to cancel slide. Feels too heavy and committal - Menu in training mode glitches out if you try to adjust the load out settings while the match is beginning. - not a must, but it would be nice to see the map be more reactive to bullets. Shooting walls/ground/ objects doesn’t leave any trace or if it does it feels cheap and unrealistic or disappears quickly. Would love to feel like my weapons have more of an effect of the environment.
