What control settings do you use? I’m a bumper jumper myself, jump and turn is crucial
i use default then i have two padles on my elite controller, left set to jump, right set the thrust, works perfectly
Normal set up, 4 sensitivity.

Destiny was -Yoinking!- me over with controls at first too, always aiming when I wanted to melee and crouching when I wanted to sprint
10 sensitivity and I use boxer. Boxer since the beginning.
it dont remmeber but its nearly identical to how i used the controller in COD:MW2 and Battlefield 3.

I’ve been playing recon for years and years.
Two days into Halo 5 I changed to fishstick because I thought Smart scope would be superior on the left trigger. Tried it for a week found out it wasn’t.
Finally just changed to bumper jumper, something I always wanted to do but was too intimidated to do.
It takes about 10 to 12 hours for muscle memory to adapt to new controls, its frustrating but not impossible.
I always use default controls in every game. Switching it up feels weird to me.
Default; but I’ve remapped by right thumb stick click to B.
So B is crouch and right stick click is thruster.
