Control of AI Squads in Future Halo Games

One thing I’ve always wanted to be able to do in Halo is control and customize a squad of troops to fight in a mission. Like in Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon 2 Advanced War fighter. Not as in Halo Wars style but first person with a squad that you have designed to react in certain ways. For example before the start of a mission you input certain commands for your squad to maybe check out a certain area and they will either engage or report back to you once the game starts. You’ll have control of their pathing before a mission and can tell them to go certain ways you have inputted in before, during the tactics kind of pre mission time. Maybe the AI adapts and will start reacting by itself the more you use them so your high rank squads can work by themselves without any commands from the start because you have taught them how to react. Or maybe if there’s a covenant side you have little grunt squads you use as shields or distractions XD. The missions and maps would be huge I assume and super difficult . There would be several things that need to happen at once otherwise you lose like destroying a comm station while you have your main force go after an outpost of enemies. If one fails those enemies will rotate over to you and crush you. Maybe the enemy AI learns too and as you go on the AI predicts your own special tactics. Maybe at the end of the day you can upload your AI’s and have other use them or, if they’re an enemy AI, they can battle them. IDK but an experience like Halo Wars and the normal FPS sounds really fun. What do you guys think.

Sounds interesting, to be able to control an A.I. group sounds fun especially if it is grunts!
