continued issues = Halo 5 purchase hangups

Man, I don’t know how to start this topic (or if it’s even been brought up already), but I just want to throw it out there:

The matchmaking issues still exist and we’re close to day 3. I just turned it on moments ago, and I’m still experiencing the same results with matchmaking.

NAT: Open
Players: Solo or Multiple

At this point, I’m starting to play other games in my backlog (and dare I say, Destiny) because these issues still don’t appear to be resolved. I’m assuming others are experiencing the same?

I respect the massive amount of hard work and effort that went into this game, but I have to wonder, will there be any type of refund or special discounts for future releases as a result of these issues? Take my tone for what it is: I’m not flaming at all, so don’t flame me for asking this legitimate question. It’s a general question for the 343 group.

The question stems from a business perspective; it’s becoming a brand issue. The people that purchased this game are likely the loyalist of followers (admittedly I am one of them). Most of my previous Halo experiences (the best of times in my XBOX gaming experience) were around the Halo 2 and Halo 3 releases, and for the MCC release we had tons of people lined up ready to play. But, we haven’t been able to play one single match-making session since we bought this game; a game that is mostly marketed for it’s “multiplayer” experience. It’s one of the greets things about the Halo series! Either people are dumped out of our match-making sessions or match-making takes 20 or minutes lone (or sometimes with a server error).

How long should we wait? What type of efforts are going to be made to keep customers? What is going to make me pay another $60 for another game in the series?

Does anyone else have some of the same thoughts on this?
