So I went to go play my copy of Reach the other day, and when I went to play matchmaking there was a flashing prompt that said “Content Load Failure”.
Fine I thought, so I went to campaign…
Same message, “Content Load Failure”.
Then I was going to do coop campaign with a friend and every time it would get close to loading completely, it would restart the loading, then would say “Content Load Failure”. My friend is able to play matchmaking, campaign, and firefight just fine.
So we tried one last thing, we both popped in Halo CEA and tried playing Reach through the multiplayer section and that worked…
Anyone else having this problem or know a solution??
It sounds like there is a problem with your Halo Reach disc. This is the only reason I know why it would say “Content Load Failure”. Check your disc to make sure there are no scratches or if its dirty, then try again. But like I said, it sound like a problem with the disc.

Same thing happened to me as happened to you.
I bought a pre-owned disc from Asda (WalMart for the cousins) for a couple of pounds and I’ve had no problem since.
With me it was certain maps that wouldn’t load, and I’ve since seen the ‘Load Failure’ logo when other players in MM have had the same problem.
If it was your original disc it’s served you well.
