Based on my previous post about a weird corruption message, I called Xbox, and after a 2 hour phone call and multiple department switches, they told me to delete all of the DLC and War Games Map Pass, as well as the War Games content, which was on Disc 2.
I am currently re-downloading the content, and I had a few questions:
first of all, these are the corruption messages that I was receiving:

Unable to write to profile. Profile may be on a storage device that has been removed or a storage device with low memory.

Unable to validate. Please make sure you are connected to Xbox Live and have the War Games Map Pass.
Now for my questions:
Based on these messages, was this the right thing to do? Since I deleted the Disc 2 contents, is that going to get rid of all of my progress in multiplayer? If this does ruin my multiplayer progress, is there any way to get it back, or will I have to redo everything?
