Content creators and the impact they have

Content creators are the absolute pillar of halos online community, from halofollower to generalheed, they hold tremendous power over the community and 343i, as its been stated that they do listen to content creators.
They need to speak up about the egregious monetization of armour customization and the milking of the fan base. 343i wont listen to us, but someone with a voice could make a huge difference.
Go to your favourite halo youtuber and beg them to speak up about this, to speak up about the lack of content for players unwilling to fork over mounds of cash, to speak up about the milking of halo fans, to speak up about the horrible anti player choices this game has made in its multiplayer.
If we can get the whole halo community to band together we could actually see positive change, like credits being able to be earned, or a revisal of the store system entirely.
We have voices and deserve to be heard, this game means so much to so many people, we deserve the game weve been waiting 6 years for, a true halo, a classic halo.

DONT STAND FOR SCUMMY BUSINESS PRACTICES. DO NOT GIVE 343 MONEY UNTIL THEY MAKE IT WORTH YOUR MONEY, SHOW THEM THAT WE WONT STAND FOR CONTENT KEY TO MULTIPLAYER BEING LOCKED BEHIND ARBITRARY PAYWALLS!!

Here’s the truth about most content creators that are focused on single games/IPs.

  1. Typically they are often extremely biased as it is their favorite game hence focusing entirely on one game in the first place.

  2. Because they focused on one game instead of gaming more broadly their audience is more niche and therefore speaking negatively even if it is their true opinion can be detrimental to their channel. In some cases it could also get them departnered or black listed by the studio/publishers who own the IP. Many creators end up with access to devs and publishers regular people don’t have. Losing that is a massive blow to their channel.

Frankly, single IP content creators are not great for objective content. They are inherently biased and financially incentivized to be positive and promote the product and be quiet/downplay when things are clearly bad for the IP.

TLDR: single content creators are basically free marketing vessels for devs and publishers.
