As a streamer and YouTuber. I’m curious if there will be any perks to those can stream 24/7 on launch, and provide solid youtube coverage.
Perks from 343i? I wouldn’t have a clue, but I’m assuming even without the support, you would see a surge of views/interest for at least a week after launch if you post daily content and the content is well done. I intend to blaze through the campaign on legendary first thing as always, and post the footage highly edited to cut down on all the death XD After that, a co-op run with my buddies, and after that, focusing on the forging community and new maps that come out!
If you’re thinking along these lines, then I’m sure you’ll see some attention. Maybe try and pre-hype by doing some speculations or videos regarding information coming out for Halo Infinite!
Yes, perks of doing that would include:
- Appealing to an audience of viewers who would rather have the game spoiled for them than experience it for themselves, which means they probably don’t really care about what you’re streaming to begin with - Having to worry about playing well and not dying a lot in a game you’ve never played before, in order to keep said audience interested in your content, instead of enjoying and discovering the game at your own pace - Sleep deprivation
343i Does things like the watch streams for Gold Req packs and like that from here to there so they’re not exactly creator supportive at the moment to the best of my knowledge but they try and help occasionally.
I only mention this because so many games do it now, especially on twitch or promos on youtube videos. Back in the golden days; be a journalists for HopeUntoDawn.org had it’s perks. Just wondering what direction they’ll take it,if any at all.
