I haven’t be able to play online mcc for 2 months because every time I press social and or competitive match making I get the same message “Contacting Servers”. I’ve seen other people had problems with it in 2019 and I tried all the methods suggested but none of them worked. I Tried signing out then back in, spam the match making button, uninstalled reinstalled… ect. It’s weird because my friend and I can still play together but when I join his lobby he then cannot play online match making. Anyone Have any other methods to try? Or is having the same issue?
Hey OP. I’m sorry to hear that you haven’t been able to get into any matchmade games. This definitely sounds like a networking issue you are facing. It would help to know what device you are trying to play on (PC/Xbox). I would start by making sure that the servers Halo runs on are not blocked - when you are playing with just you and your friend in custom games that doesn’t use the dedicated servers and you are connecting directly to your friend so that might explain why you are able to play with them but not in multiplayer.
