"Contacting server to get the latest matchmaking"

Everytime I try to search for a game in PC MCC Halo Reach matchmaking tonight (social or competitive), it gives an error message saying:

“Contacting server to get the latest matchmaking information. Please wait.”

After waiting over 20 minutes, nothing has changed, and the only option is to click “Ok”
A few nights ago it did the exact same thing, only the message had a “cancel” button instead of an “ok” button.

Please help, this is not allowing me to play any online Halo Reach tonight.

I am having the same problem. I played one game of multiplayer after the latest update with no issues. After the second game started, all of the players in the game were dropped. So I went to start again, and i get the same “CONTACTING SERVER” message.

I have tried signing out, restarting the game, restarting my xbox, i have checked and restarted my router and modem, and nothing has worked.
