Contacting Server to get the latest data MCC

Hi there,

Not sure if this is the right forum page but I recently downloaded MCC and now I am unable to play social/ranked matchmaking. This error comes up and nothing happens. Almost as if its on a loop trying to find the network.

“contacting server to get the latest matchmaking data. Please wait.”

I’ve tried the following:

  1. signing out of my account and back in still no luck.
  2. Uninstalling / then reinstalling game on steam
  3. Shutting computer down and booting back up
  4. Logging in and out of steam
  5. Ensuring internet connection is good

I’m honestly not sure where to go from here. I have no other solutions to this problem. If anyone has any ideas please reach out to me as I really want to play this game.

If you are running into a Connecting Server message in MCC, try the following:

  • Open the Roster -> Click your profile -> Click ‘Change Profile’ - This should log you out. Log back in and you should no longer receive the message

This happened to me last night as well . The season 2 part of menu also was stuck in a ’ retrieving ’ cycle. I’ve repeatedly tried all the signing out/in profile stuff etc with no solution either

Hi,

As mentioned previosuly - signing out and back into my profile does not fix the problem. Any other suggestions you may have?
